A Random Rant
So it’s just another day, and I randomly glance at the updates on my Facebook feed and think, “Wow, I know some incredibly offensive, insensitive people.” It surprises me that they are often proud of their transgressions. Are they oblivious to the fact that it advertises their complete lack of [insert positive value here]? Do they care? Why would anyone brag about telling a depressed friend that they are a failure “as a joke”?
Mind boggling.
… And yet I am still “friends” with people I’m somewhat embarrassed to be associated with sometimes. Clearly, Facebook should introduce a list called “Acquaintances” (just so I don’t have to struggle with the dilemma of “un-friending” and breaking hearts, and still be able to sleep at night thinking that I’m not exactly friends with someone who clearly is a sociopath hellbent on destroying lives for pleasure.) Do it for me, Mark Zuckerberg. Do it. Do it now.
