Hi Sinlee, I have discovered your Pearltrees account. It is so rich! As CMO of Pearltrees I can enlighten some of your points. 1. We will soon publish a new release of Pearltrees (by mi-february) with real time pearling, so you will see your new pearls in your drop zone wihile browsing. 2. The zoom out is becoming more and more essential as your account grows, so we have scheduled one in our iteration plan for the following six month. 3. In Pearltrees people get connected when they have pearled the same content. It is a really more accurate way to make connection than connecting people on the same tag. Of course the results will be more and more accurate with pearltrees as Pearltrees will grow. Have you tried the mini-pearl near one of your pearltree? It is a really new way to browse the web that really interests you. 5. You are perfectly right with the connection point. We are currently working on a new system that will be more adapted, meaning less invasive and more focused on what you really need.

Totally love the idea about files and devices. I think that it's a definite possibility in the future.

The interface is alright... I just really wish there was a zoom function. Maybe have the pearls size up (or down) as the number of links increase?

I tried this out today also and was very impressed. The possibilities ARE endless. It would be great if eventually the pearls could be ANY type of object, like files, disks, devices on your home network, your music collection, PLAYLISTS.... It's incredible. Of course after all those types of objects/pearls become possible, then adding security to different pearls will be another issue, and where stuff is stored will be another.

The interface does have a bit to be desired, but it is STILL beta...

It's pretty amazing and addictive once you start exploring it!
