Hello world!
Finally. FINALLY! I now actually own sinlee.com, which was pretty surprising because I thought that someone else would probably have taken it already (short domain name, only 6 letters, surely someone would have thought of buying it).
But yes, the road to job security is long, hard, arduous and… disturbingly silent. I’d send out resumes and even though it’s over e-mail, I still have that sneaking suspicion that the digital postman (or postal worker, or what have you) has been hiding these critical letters from my potential employers because I’m not getting any replies. Not even a “we aren’t hiring you”! not even a “we received it, thanks.” It wouldn’t feel so bad if I at least knew they found someone but it’s that sinking, waiting-for-Christmas feeling except that there’s probably no present.
BUT! Here’s the kicker – all this (non)rejection has finally encouraged me to get off my butt, buy some books on css and dreamweaver and crank up a website so I can brush up on these long-forgotten skills. Now all I have to do is try to be consistent with updates…

Bo, I wonder if you really can cook. Those rcipes are strange to me. Can’t imagine how it taste. Well, happy to learn that you does your own cooking nowadays. Keep it up. Who knows. One day you may open a cafe with you very own recipes.
